The most crucial step in delivering the best possible result for you is getting to know you and the project requirements before any work begins. This ensures that both parties fully understand what to expect. By following the process detailed below, we achieve mutual understanding and agreement. And that means peace of mind for you.
First Contact
When you contact us, we will schedule a free in-home estimate and consultation for your project. We can schedule an appointment time that is convenient for you, including on evenings or Saturdays. During that initial phone call, we’ll ask you key questions to help us prepare for the meeting.
Meeting at your home
During our meeting, we will inspect your project area—siding, roofing, backyard—then measure your home, take pictures, and discuss product options with you. We will show you product samples and discuss the pros and cons of the various products to determine the best fit for your needs. That information becomes the basis for our bid. The length of these meetings is flexible; the important thing is that you are comfortable and understand the products and process, and we fully understand your expectations. We suggest that you plan for at least 30 to 45 minutes.
Bid Proposal
We prepare a detailed bid that clearly outlines the scope of work and then carefully review the proposal with you to ensure that you fully understand the bid. Our Exterior Consultants are always available to answer your questions about our bid, our process, and of course any concerns you may have. If we are fortunate enough to earn your business, we will sign an agreement that protects you and begin the process of scheduling the work.
Begin Work
Our experienced, certified crew will start work on the scheduled date. Our siding, roofing, and painting crews are true professionals; they are knowledgeable, work efficiently, and are respectful of you and your property. Old siding and debris or roofing materials are removed, and we thoroughly clean up the home site after we complete all work. New siding installation typically takes two to three weeks depending on the house size. Roofing replacement usually requires four to seven days. Painting generally takes two to four days, based on the size of the structure and of course our always cooperative Northwest weather.
Coordinating Multiple Jobs
For projects that require more than one of our crews, such as a renovation project that includes siding installation, window replacement, and painting, we create a schedule that reflects the needs of each crew. This coordinated approach allows a crew to complete its task within the scheduled time while also preparing for the crew that will follow; the result is a savings in time, which in turn means it saves you money.
